Our VISION: To be a community of people with uncompromising love for and commitment to children, families and Jesus Christ.

 Our PURPOSE:  To support families in ministering the gospel to children as they grow to love God and serve Him with their lives.

Our Goals: Waleska UMC children’s ministry strives to provide a safe and loving environment where children from infancy thought 5th grade:

  • Find and love God
  • Explore his Word (the Bible)
  • Apply Biblical truth to life experiences
  • Build relationships within the church family
  • Discover their own God- given uniqueness

Parenting is tough. We want to help!

Raising children is a tough task. There are so many influences, so many demands and only so much time and energy.  That’s why we want to partner with you as you work toward leading your child on that critical journey from childhood to a healthy, happy, and God-honoring adult life.

We offer a number of ongoing children’s ministries, as well as special programs through the year, to give children a clearer understanding of God and His good plan for their lives, as well as providing a safe and fun place for them to be with friends.

We hope you will allow us to be a helpful partner in your sometimes difficult but incredibly important job of parenting. Let’s join forces to provide the guidance children need to experience God’s good, healthy, fulfilling and joyful plan for their lives.

SUNDAY MORNINGS:

 NURSERY   – Waleska UMC offers a nursery which is staffed by amazing volunteers with a genuine love for infants and toddlers.  Rather than merely providing childcare, they are seeking to extend God’s love through music and play with the children  in their care be with friends.  You’ll love our excited, Kid- friendly staff and volunteers who have a contagious enthusiasm for Jesus.

CHURCH SERVICE  Children are invited to join their families during our 10:30am worship service which incorporates a brief children’s message amiable to children of all ages.

kidsown-worship-logoKids Own Worship  Following the children’s message each week children (kindergarten through 4th grade) are invited to attend Kids Own Worship (KOW). This just for kids worship service is specifically designed so children will experience God through a weekly Bible point, fun activities and engaging worship.
